These are a little labor intensive, squeezing them all out of their little straws, but still cool.
A different set of instructions.
The cream is what makes them half opaque – it separates naturally. But these can be made with any jello recipe. I’d be inclined to make more adult-friendly alcoholic worms with:
- 4 packages unflavoured gelatin
- 2 cups pomegranate juice, boiling, to initially dissolve the gelatin
- 3/4 cup Whipping Cream & 1 cup vodka, added after gelatin is dissolved
That approximates the normal “jello jigglers” ratio of 1c boiling liquid, 2 packets gelatin, 1c cold liquid. Being 1/4c shy of 4c total liquid is what gives you room for the straws in a (4 cup) mason jar.
